Tile replacements

When would you need this?
Generally necessary when the existing tiles are old and brittle, have become porous or fretted out from atmospheric conditions or started to slip from supporting battens.
Tile rebed and repoint
Should include; replacement of all broken and cracked tiles and ridge caps using similar size and profile, rebedding of all loose or misaligned ridge caps and barge tiles, repointing of all ridge and barge tiles using flexible pointing, replace/recoat valleys and skylight trays, clean down roof and removal of all rubbish, 3 year guarentee

When would you need this?
Depending on recent storm conditions ,when your insurance policy requires that you maintain your roof, as a rule of thumb if the roof is older then 7 years, if there is mould appearing on ceilings inside, if you can visibly notice cement on ridge caps cracking.
Tile cleaning and recoating

When would you need this
Rarely would you actually need to do this as it is more of an aesthetics service. However, in some circumstances cement tiles can become porous
Slate Roof Replacement

When would you need this
When there is random and widespread cracking and slipping of slates, when they have become soft, when there are ongoing water leaks.
Slate roof rebatten and resark
Careful removal of existing slates and sorting out to re-use as much as possible, re-holing of salvaged slate, replacing existing timber battens, heavy duty sarking, rebedding and repointing ridge caps, new soaker flashings, new valleys, new lead chimney trays, copper nails, clean down roof and remove all rubbish, 3 year guarantee.

When would you need this
Normally if the slates themselves are reasonably sound and largely salvageable for re-use but there is widespread slipping of slates or water leaks then this may become a more economical option rather then replacement as new slate is very expensive
Metal roof replacement
Removal of all existing roof cladding, replace timber battens, install insulation blanket (not sarking), new zincalume or Colorbond full length sheets with a profile to suit the roof pitch and length, prefabricated flashings to all sides and penetrations, backtrays to chimneys and skylights on flat roofs, clean down all metal swarf and filings from roof, remove all rubbish, 7 year guarantee.

When would you need this
